Description: General Mechanic for 20 Vehicle Fleet and small equipment

Applicant should have the following skills:

• You should be capable of heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds).
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• A track record of adhering to scheduling and attendance requirements.
• Has excellent attendance and can handle responsibility.
• Highly productive with minimal guidance or supervision.
• Experience in any of the following areas is preferred: cooling systems, electrical systems, diesel/gas engines, fuel systems, steering, and suspension, autobody repair, painting and welding. Must have general knowledge and experience with all around repair and diagnostic skills.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Demonstrate persistence, strive to improve skills and achieve goals.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• ASE certification preferred.

You will maintain and repair a variety of construction equipment, Isuzu NPR trucks, GMC vans & Chevy S10 Pickups. You should have your own basic set of tools. To qualify, you must have knowledge of a variety of engines and ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems. Specific duties include: timely repair & preventative maintenance on small engine and vehicles with diesel and gas engines.
